Race Day Packing List
Whether you are traveling for your race or running a local one, it is important to make sure you have everything you need for your big day. We’ve put together a packing list to help remember some items you may need.
- Race clothing – shirt(s), shorts or pants, bra, socks
- SHOES!
- Watch and/or heart rate monitor (take your charger if you are traveling)
- Accessories – sunglasses, bondi band, hat/visor, arm warmers, running belt, music, hair tie
- Throw away clothes for standing in the coral.
- Body Glide
- GU, gels, blocks, etc.
- Water/Gatorade if you choose to carry the first few miles
- Bib number
- Nip guards/bandages for the guys
- Safety pins
- Change of clothes/shoes for postâ€race
- Postâ€race snacks
- Plastic garbage bag for if it’s raining or if you need to sit on it.
- Sunscreen
Remember to plan ahead, have everything laid out and ready to go. If you are traveling, make sure you have checked all your gear the night before so you won’t be surprised on race morning.
